On the Chaikin Analytics platform, two major types of lists are available to help subscribers: Hotlists and Publication Bonus Lists. These lists are updated frequently—some daily and some weekly—and can be used as starting points for further research or as idea generators to build out your portfolio.
 

Overview: What Are Hotlists and Publication Bonus Lists?  


Who Has Access?

• Hotlists are available to subscribers with Power Gauge PRO or higher.
• Publication Bonus Lists are available only if you're subscribed to the specific Chaikin newsletter associated with the list.

Hotlists

Hotlists are curated, automatically updated lists of stocks or ETFs that meet certain model or signal-based conditions. These are divided into categories such as:

• Power Gauge Rating changes
• Buy/Sell Signals
• Technical Indicators (like Money Flow or Relative Strength)
• Earnings Trends
• Analyst Rating Changes

These lists are platform-wide and not tied to a specific publication. They can be found on the Hotlists page under the My Chaikin tab (Power Gauge PRO and above). Hotlists can update both daily and weekly depending on the Hotlist. 

Publication Bonus Lists

These lists are tied directly to your newsletter subscriptions. Each publication may provide one or more bonus lists with curated stocks that reflect the strategy or guidance of the analyst behind the service. These are typically updated daily and can be found in the My Publications section inside the relevant newsletter.

Use these lists to explore the analysts' top ideas, follow themes they’ve been highlighting, or quickly review stocks to avoid.
 

Why Use Daily Stock Lists?

• Idea Generation: Save time by starting with pre-qualified stocks that already meet technical, fundamental, or model-based filters.
• Quick Scanning: These lists let you find actionable setups fast—like a stock that just triggered a Buy Signal or one that’s moved up sharply in Relative Strength.
• Market Awareness: Hotlists reveal shifts in sentiment, industries gaining momentum, and potential reversals.
• Tailored to Your Strategy: Whether you lean growth, value, or income, there’s a list to match your focus.
   

Where to Find Them

• Hotlists: Go to the My Chaikin tab and click All Lists. Use the filters on the left to select Chaikin Hotlists. These are available only to Power Gauge PRO and above. Lists are organized by category, such as Signals, Power Gauge, Earnings, and more.
• Publication Bonus Lists: Just like Hotlists, go to the My Chaikin tab and click All Lists. Use the filters on the left and select Publication Bonus to see lists tied to your newsletter subscriptions. These lists are only available if you're subscribed to the specific publication.
   

How to Use Them Effectively

• Review lists regularly—many are updated daily.
• Combine ideas with filters in the Screener to refine based on Power Gauge Rating, industry, price, etc.
• Use in combination with the Pre-Trade Checklist to evaluate stocks before taking action.
• Add symbols from a list to your custom Watchlists or Portfolio Lists for tracking.
