What is the difference between a renewal payment and a maintenance-fee payment?

Understand the key distinctions between renewal payments and maintenance fees, including their purposes and implications.

At Chaikin Analytics, we offer two distinct types of payments: renewal payments and maintenance fee payments.Β

πŸ” What is a renewal payment?

Renewal payments apply to subscriptions set to renew automatically. When the term ends, your membership is extended for another term, usually one year, so your access isn't interrupted.

The payment is processed automatically on the anniversary of your sign-up or service activation.

πŸ› οΈ What is a maintenance fee?

Maintenance fees apply to Premier memberships. A Premier membership gives you ongoing access as long as you pay a small annual maintenance fee, so there's no renewal to manage.

To see what a Premier membership includes, see What's Included in Each Chaikin Subscription.

πŸ“… How do I see which charge is coming next?

Your account portal shows the next charge for each subscription.

  1. Log in to Chaikin Analytics.
  2. Click My Account in the upper-right corner and choose Manage Membership. Your account portal opens.
  3. Click My Subscriptions in the left menu.

Each subscription lists its Level, Next Charge Date, Next Charge Amount and Next Charge Type.
