Chaikin Analytics provides six pairs of Buy and Sell Signals to help identify timely trading opportunities. These signals are based on a combination of technical indicators and the Power Gauge Rating. They are designed to highlight when a stock might be gaining or losing strength—not to provide official trade recommendations.
These signals serve as calls to attention—tools to help guide your research and timing.
💡 Why These Signals Matter
Buy and Sell signals don’t appear every day. That’s because they only trigger when specific, high-probability conditions are met. This makes them more meaningful when they do—and a valuable resource to help you focus your attention.

⏰ When Are Signals Calculated?
Signals are generated once a day from end-of-day data. A signal triggers only if all of its conditions are met.
- Signals are calculated after the market closes.
- They typically appear by 11:30 PM ET.
- Intraday price changes don't trigger signals.
- Power Gauge Ratings may update separately the next morning.
💡 How Should I Use Signals?
- Scan for ideas: Find stocks worth more research based on timely signals.
- Check your timing: Support your entry or exit decision on a stock already on your radar.
To check whether a stock meets Chaikin's bullish criteria overall, pair signals with the Pre-Trade Checklist.
⚠️ Signals are not automatic buy or sell instructions. Always consider the full chart, the Power Gauge Rating and other indicators before making a decision.
