📈 What are Portfolio Insights?
Portfolio Insights is a weekly review of the lists you've chosen to track. It lets you keep up with rating changes, earnings surprises and estimate revisions without checking each stock yourself. New insights are typically posted every Sunday.
How do I turn on Portfolio Insights for a list?
- In My Chaikin, click the All Lists tab.
- Find the list and switch its Portfolio Insights toggle, in the column on the right, to On.
Portfolio Insights works with your own Watchlists and Portfolio Lists. It isn't available for Chaikin Hotlists, ETF index lists or US equity lists.
How do I view Portfolio Insights?
- Click My Chaikin in the top navigation bar.
- On the Dashboard tab, click the Portfolio Insights tab next to Quick Select List Monitor.
The Week in Review shows the dates covered and:
- How many of your lists were up and how many were down over the last week
- How the market benchmark, the S&P 500 (SPY), performed over the same week
- A table with each list's Name, Price Movement and Power Bar
The weekly summary also covers:
- Power Gauge Rating summary: how many stocks are Very Bullish, Bullish, Neutral, Bearish or Very Bearish
- Rating changes: stocks with a Power Gauge upgrade or downgrade over the past week
- Earnings activity: positive or negative earnings surprises, and which companies report soon
- Estimate revisions: changes in analysts' earnings forecasts, up or down
Portfolio Insights or alerts?
